Natural Infrastructure and Forest Resilience in the U.S.

Landscapes across the United States are suffering from increasingly frequent and intense wildfires, the loss of natural ecosystems, and the impacts of climate change. The damage to forests, wetlands, and other ecosystems is leading to displaced populations, economic and structural losses, and disastrous environmental challenges. At the same time, the nation needs to fill an over $2 trillion gap in spending to meet infrastructure needs. Investing in forest resilience and natural infrastructure can tackle both problems and more.

Cities4Forests is partnering with government agencies, municipalities, utilities, corporations, and other critical stakeholders to invest in natural infrastructure and create more resilient landscapes across the nation. We develop innovative financing mechanisms and encourage corporations to do their part in filling the investment gap.
