Nabilah Kushaflyki

Indonesia Coordinator, WRI Indonesia

Nabilah is the Urban Forestry Coordinator for Cities4Forests at WRI Indonesia. Her work consists of coordinating and managing activities and projects of Cities4Forests that are carried out in Indonesia. In addition, she manages engagements in nurturing partnerships and building coalitions among government agencies, NGOs, the private sector, universities, and other key stakeholders.

She began her experience with WRI as WRI’s partner by working directly for the Jakarta Government. Nabilah was a Policy Analyst in the Governor’s Delivery Unit in the Jakarta Government, specifically working on trees, parks, and city forest issues. Within one year with the Jakarta Government, she generated two regulations on parks and tree management which have since been legalized during her time with WRI Indonesia for Cities4Forests.

With her background in Environmental Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, she aspires and hopes to help cities better conserve, manage, and restore their inner forests (city trees, parks, and city forests) for human well-being.
