Retno Wihanesta is an Urban Transport Planner at WRI Indonesia, where her work focuses on sustainable city issues. She provides technical assistance to governments to improve road safety and sustainable transport. Retno holds a bachelor of science degree in City and Regional Planning from the Bandung Institute of Technology and a master of science degree in Infrastructure Planning from the University of Stuttgart.
