Audrey Denvir
Research Associate II, Cities4Forests
Audrey Denvir is a Research Associate II with Cities4Forests. Audrey works on nature-based solutions (NbS) for watersheds in various landscapes across the Americas. This work includes critical ecosystem restoration in western U.S. forests, water conservation in agricultural landscapes, and NbS monitoring in Latin American urban water systems.
Prior to joining WRI, Audrey completed her doctorate at University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Geography and the Environment. Her research on the socioecological impact of avocado production in Mexico included a land change model, carbon storage accounting, and a qualitative socioeconomic analysis. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as Ambio, Applied Geography, and Environmental Research Letters.
Audrey holds a Masters in Environmental Science from the Yale School of the Environment, and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Cornell University.
