Andrés Ladino
Nature-Based Solutions Analyst, WRI Colombia
Andrés is a Nature-based Solutions Analyst at WRI Colombia. In his role, he supports WRI’s work to increase the climate resilience of the hydropower sector and local communities through ecosystem-based adaptation in Colombia and Costa Rica. Andrés also supports Cities4Forests’ projects in Colombia.
Andrés developed his internship at WRI Colombia, where he supported research and the development of a webinar on mangroves and climate resilience.
Andrés was a research assistant at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. In this role, he was responsible for supporting the design and adjustment of the methodology for the calculation of management indicators, monitoring, and evaluation of science, technology, and agricultural innovation in the Department of Casanare. He also supported the development of workshops and the completion of a data collection instrument.
Andrés is soon to be a graduate in Government and International Relations at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. He enjoys exercising and playing video games and is passionate about history and geography.
