World En­vir­on­ment Day “time for nature”

Today is World En­vir­on­ment Day. We’re ask­ing you to sup­port Cit­ies4­Forests. Post an im­age with forests and trees. Share your photo on In­s­tagram or Face­book, us­ing #ForestChallenge, or the on­line form un­til 15 June 2020. Cit­ies4­Forests com­mits to plant­ing up to 2,000 man­groves trees in North­ern Sumatra, In­done­sia. The plant­ing of five spe­cies of man­groves in this loc­a­tion helps to re­store local biod­iversity and to pro­tect the coast­lines from flood­ing and the rising sea levels. All pho­tos need to be sub­mit­ted via a pub­lic post on In­s­tagram or Face­book – us­ing #ForestChallenge – or the on­line form un­til 15 June 2020.
