As the Restoration and Behavioral Research Analyst for WRI Indonesia, Sarah Silitonga provides technical work in multiple areas of carbon neutrality that focus on nature-based solutions using forest restoration. Specifically, she supports engagement with restoration partners, conducts restoration data management, and assists in analyzing the environmental, social, and economic impacts of restoration at individual and organizational levels.
Prior to WRI, Sarah worked for various institutions focusing in coastal ecosystem restoration and sustainable aquaculture, supporting data management, research, and product development. Sarah earned her B.Sc in Biology from the Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia. In her free time, Sarah loves exploring places by running around the city and doing rock climbing.
