Luiza Oliveira

Luiza is a Cities4Forests Brazil Researcher at WRI Brasil and the Urban Development Coordinator at WRI Brasil Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, where she leads a multidisciplinary team in research and technical support for governments in urban planning, metropolitan governance and urban transformation projects.
In her first years at WRI Brasil, she worked supporting municipalities in the process of developing urban mobility plans.
Prior to joining WRI Brasil, Luiza conducted research on the Minha Casa Minha Vida program, developed urban and architectural projects in Porto Alegre and worked on the planning department of the city of Pully, Switzerland.
Luiza holds a Bachelors in Architecture and Urban Planning from Federal University of Santa Maria and a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
